Fwd: Are we disaster ready?

Could I have expressions of interest for this so I can confirm the session, please?  Younger children also welcome.

Kim

Are we disaster ready?

The Westland District Library has been working in collaboration with Claire Brown, Emergency Management Officer at Westland District Council, to develop a Civil Defence display on the library mezzanine which highlights many useful ways to prepare for a natural disaster.

Claire will be running a one hour session each Thursday 10.00am during Term 2 starting on 11th May for Year 4 students and older.  There will be a quiz, questions, heaps of great tips and best of all… prizes.

We would like to invite your home school students to join us on the 11th May. Please let me know if this date doesn't work and I'll look into other dates.

Kind regards

Fwd: First year Christian accommodation in Christchurch

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: Peverel Flats <peverelflats@gmail.com>

Subject: First year Christian accommodation in Christchurch
To: Peverel Flats <peverelflats@gmail.com>

Hi there,

I hope this email finds you well!

My name is Sophie Meyer and I'm emailing to let you know about an exciting opportunity opening up for first year flatters who are thinking of moving to Christchurch in 2017. A group of us from Riccarton Community Church (RCC) have recently launched The Peverel Flats - rental accommodation for young Christians leaving home to study in Christchurch.

Our vision is to provide a supportive environment, a connection to RCC's young adults community, as well as practical help with flat life. We also aim to empower our flatters to take ownership of their faith and all the challenges associated with their first year away from home.

So, our next task is to find said students! It would be fantastic if you could forward this email on to youth pastors, families who might be interested, put it in church newsletters or anyone else you think would like to know. Feel free to share our website peverelflats.co.nz, or check us out on Facebook. I have also attached a flyer for you to use as you wish.

No doubt you have some questions - for more detail, visit our website or reply to this email. I'd love to hear from you.

Warm regards

Sophie Meyer
