Rebecca is at C and her sister is at B and they live at house 24 (clue 1).
Michael is at A and doesn't live at house 22 (3) or 24 (1), so 23. Josie
is standing next to her brother so is at E (clue 2). Ruth is Rebecca's
sister and is at B and (4) their surname is Jackson. Greg is at F (6).
By elimination, Simon is at D. He doesn't live at number 23 (5), or 24
(1), so 22. He isn't Greg's brother (2), so Josie's. By elimination, Greg

Whatnot Puzzle Page Answers

The Solution . . .
Take a piece of fruit from the "apples and oranges" crate. If it's an apple then you know that is the "apples" crate since ALL THE CRATES ARE LABLED INCORRECTLY. This means the crate marked "apples" must be "oranges" and the crate marked "oranges" must be "apples and oranges".

Shared Lunch

Hi folks,

We are planning a get-together!

This is to facilitate homeschool mothers getting together to:

  • share about your journey
  • express your challenges
  • ask your questions
  • harvest from the veterans
  • learn from others'  experience

There will be ample space for the kids, so bring something to share for lunch, your favourite resources, and a friend interested in homeschooling.
We will run a question and answers session.  Put your questions in a hat, and we'll see if anyone has an answer for you!

Date: 8th June
Time: 11.30am  We'll start with a coffee, phase into lunch, and you can go home when you're ready!
Place: Samuel & Kim's

Leave a comment and we will get back to you if you are interested.

The New West Coast Home Educators Quarterly

The mock up issue is at the printers, and we hope to launch the real thing in June.  Have your entries in by the middle of June.

Hey Kids!  Please support this journal with your contributions.
Email or post anything you have written or drawn, photographed, or achieved.  Take a photo of a special moment and enter it as a newspaper article, write a story, poem, or essay, or show us your art work.
Scattered through the magazine are quotes and tips.  If you have a good one, share it with us for the next issue!

Swimming

West Coat homeschoolers meet at the Hokitika Centennial Swimming Pool every Friday afternoon 1pm-3pm.  Pay your own admission.  The pool closes for the season on Sunday, 3rd June.
